Kayla Ross Marketing and Event Management
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” – Nelson Mandela. As a student, I’ve embraced the opportunity to learn and grow both in and out of the classroom. While I value formal education, I believe learning is a lifelong journey. To complement my studies, I’ve volunteered, worked, and interned with various businesses and organizations, gaining practical experience and broadening my knowledge.
My creativity shines through in developing promotional materials and marketing strategies, and I’ve gained extensive experience planning events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale concerts and celebrations. I am a certified Wedding and Event Planner through the Bridal Society and hold additional certifications, including American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid. I’m also a Certified Inclusivity Assessor from the SUNY Cortland Recreation Resource and Inclusion Center, ServSafe Food Handler Certified, and an FAA Drone Pilot.

I can create custom flyers, business cards, calendars and promotional items for your business or organization. I can also design t-shirts and logos for your group or business. I can also create photos and video footage.

Event Management

Costumed Characters
I often play various costumed characters for parties and events. Superheroes, princesses, cartoon characters and holiday characters are available. I love to use my creativity by twisting balloon sculptures and face painting and perform basic magic tricks.
Meeting Planning
I am available to plan and facilitate meetings for businesses and organizations. I have experience with the promotion and registration for all event sizes. I can oversee the coordination of the food and beverage needs along with the entertainment or activities planning. I also have experience in fundraising and marketing events.
Event Management
I have experience in planning and working events of all sizes for many years. I have helped coordinate birthday parties, fundraisers, company picnics, school carnivals, and holiday events.
